GeoGuessr

GeoGuessr is a geography guessing game that drops you into real-world Street View locations and challenges you to figure out where you are. Explore unfamiliar streets, study your surroundings, and place a pin on the world map to see how accurately you can identify each location.

How to Play GeoGuessr

Start a round and examine the scene around you. Look for clues such as road signs, languages, flags, architecture, vegetation, and driving directions. In modes that allow movement, travel along roads to find more evidence. Other modes limit you to looking around from your starting point, making every visible detail important.

When you think you know the location, open the map and place your marker where you believe the Street View scene was captured. Submit your guess to reveal the correct location and the distance between it and your pin. The closer your guess, the more points you earn. Continue through the rounds and aim for the highest total score.

Controls

• Click and Drag – Look around the Street View scene.
• Mouse Wheel – Zoom in or out.
• On-Screen Arrows / Click the Road – Move through the location when movement is allowed.
• Left Mouse Button – Open the map and place or adjust your guess marker.
• Guess Button – Submit your selected location.
