BeamNG Drive is a realistic vehicle simulation game built around advanced soft-body physics and detailed damage modeling. Drive customizable cars, trucks, and other vehicles across large open environments while experimenting with handling, crashes, stunts, and different driving conditions.

How to Play BeamNG Drive

Choose a vehicle and explore freely in Freeroam, or enter scenarios and other activities with specific objectives. Each vehicle reacts dynamically to impacts and terrain, with individual components simulated in real time. You can customize parts such as engines, suspension, and wheels to change how your vehicle performs.

Experiment with different vehicles, complete driving challenges, create crashes, or simply explore the maps. You can recover damaged vehicles, switch between vehicles, change camera views, and customize the controls to match your preferred driving setup.

Controls

• Up / Down Arrow – Accelerate and brake.
• Left / Right Arrow – Steer.
• Spacebar – Temporary parking brake.
• Q – Change gearbox mode.
• Z / X – Shift down / up.
• R – Restart the current vehicle or mission.
• Insert – Recover the vehicle.
• Tab – Switch to the next vehicle.
• C – Change camera mode.
